Aunt Elaine & Uncle Bob opened their hearts, arms and house to me and treated me as if I were their son. I have never felt the love that they gave me anywhere else. I will truly miss her. Love & miss you Uncle Bob, Bobbie, Therese, Patty & Betsey.

As the "fourth daughter" of the Burns family, Mamma B will live in my heart forever. I still know every nook and cranny of our homes on Sunset Drive (including the cubby closet behind the built-in dressers Pappa B built in Patti's room where Patti and I hid a soaking pair of pants from Mamma B after Patti fell into the stream in the woods where we were playing after Mamma B told us not to. Mom opened her heart and arms to me and made me feel supremely loved. Although I knew her only a few years, she gave me enough love to last a lifetime. Knowing her has added to my joy in life in immeasurable ways. I find comfort in knowing she has found peace and is now painfree. I miss you, Mom. I love you, Dad!

Our MOM and DAD went through most of their lives in pain, but they would rarely let us see it. They kept us in line, while being loving, caring, responsible, supportive parents. They were that for all of our lives.
