Elaine Caflisch passed away in Erie, Pennsylvania. The obituary was featured in Erie Times-News on January 29, 2013.
I was a nurse at Saint Vincent Health Center and had the pleasure of taking care of her. She made a very strong impact on me. She enriched my life for the short time I cared for her. She spoke very proudly of her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I loved talking about teaching English with Elaine when our paths crossed over the years at various workshops. I especially loved her dedication and enthusiasm for teaching. So sorry for your loss.
