Elaine was proud to be part of the first graduating class of Warren Cousino High School in 1965. She met the love of her life Robert W. Carr in Chandler’s Shoe store in 1966. They later married in Detroit in 1968, sadly he passed away on April 4, 2021. Over the years Elaine enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and entertaining in their home. She loved working and being a part of the many activities at her daughter’s schools, whether helping serve as a home room mother, working the lunches or helping in the school yard. The most important thing to Elaine was the time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Not sure what to say?

I had the privilege of getting to know Elaine this year. I will miss her humor and her great smile. Elaine was truly a bright light who was kind to everyone and a good friend.

We always enjoyed being with Elaine and Bob, whether it was on social occasions or at the PM Club. I especially enjoyed her company at the Ladies' Weekends, she had such an infectious laugh!
Our heartfelt condolences go to her daughters and their families.
