Not sure what to say?

This was Elaine and her sisters on Thanksgiving 2003. She was happy that her hair had finally grown back (nice and wavy) after a bout of chemo caused her to lose all her hair. When the three of us got together, there was always a whole lot of laughter!

This was Elaine's last Christmas (Dec. 2004) with Lisa, Donna & Eric. She passed away three months later on March 20.

Dear Elaine and Aunt Ruth,
I have loved you both since I was a little girl, and always will. Our families are forever bonded by love. Thank you both for living inside me. I'm sure Aunt Fran is with you, I can hear you all laughing! You've started the party without me, but I'll see you when I get there!
xoxox Forever and ever,
Barbara

Not to slight your sisters and brother, but you were always my favorite cousin. You were wonderful when you were young, and as you aged. Even in your most trying times you were still that little six year old rolling around in the snow with the rest of us. That is why everyone loves you as much as they do. You were always young at heart. I know we'll meet again, assuming I can meet the standards for the place where you are now.

Elaine:

I am thinking of you on this the anniversary of both your birth and death, and I miss you very much. You will always be alive in the memories of your wonderful family, whom it has been a pleasure and an honor to know. No matter how many days we all have here on earth, we'll be with you again in the blink of an eye.

Love,

Elaine, I tried over and over to to come up with the perfect words to write in this guest book. I wanted to share words that would convey how much I love you and miss you every day. Finally, I realized that there are no words. All my love, Donna

Elaine,
We can't believe you're gone a year already. Today is your birthday (53rd). Dad, Jeff & I left flowers for you & a note, saying that you will always be in our hearts and we'll always remember your beauty and kindness! (And don't forget that infectious laugh of yours!!!!!) Say hi to Mom, may you and she be forever bonded in Heaven, but a part of you will be here with us too. All our love, miss you a lot,
Lisa, Jeff, Casey, Blake and Dad
