Elaine was born in Ogden, Utah to Richard and Alice Lundberg on Feb 17, 1917. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Hare.
Elaine was a beloved parent, grandparent, great-grandparent, and great-great grandparent. Survived by her children: Sharon Lansdowne, Kathleen LaFrentz, Roberta Gilbert, and William Hare; grandchildren: Michael Young, Daniel, Jerry, and Robert LaFrentz, Jennifer Lefler, and Cristin Sohm, great-grandchildren: Cassandra Young, Daniel, Brandon, Adam, Amanda, and Alex LaFrentz, Mellissa Edens; Nicole Tumminelli, and Nick and Sarah Sohm, great-great-granddaughter Abigail Edens, sisters: Hazel McCullough and Carol Tomlinson; cousin: Shirley Ball, as well as an extended family.
Visitation will be held at Oak Hill, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, on Thur, Nov 21, 2013 from 12PM to 9PM. Funeral services will be held at Oak Hill Chapel of Roses on Friday, Nov 22, 2013 at 11AM with Rev. David Bridgen officiating. Burial and reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (www.michaeljfox.org) would be appreciated.
