Dear Kenny and Bruce and Family,

I am saddened to hear of the passing of your wonderful mother, Elaine. She and your dad were such wonderful neighbors of our parents for many many years. She was lovely and kind and cheerful and so full of energy, and always available to chat with my parents, and us whenever we were visiting in College Park Woods. We have many photos in our family albums to remember her and your dad.

Dear Bruce and Kenny,
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. She and the Judge were such dear friends of our parents (Zekin and Adma Shakhashiri) and such special neighbors. All of us remember your whole family very fondly and feel enriched to have known each of you. I suspect our parents are enjoying being neighbors again and are, perhaps, still raising the flag on patriotic days in some "Woods".
