Not sure what to say?

A great lady and a great Princess for Roosevelt High School.

I can´t begin to tell you how saddened I am to hear of Elaine´s passing. I will always will remember her warmness and her beautiful smile. May God be with you during this most difficult time. With Love and Sympathy, Robbie

I was best friends with Elaine's youngest sister, Connie. Elaine was always very sweet and kind. She was one determined girl no matter what she was involved in. I remember her practicing on the piano every day. You could hear her throughout the neighborhood (Hartman St.) We had close to 30 kids on that one block so there was always someone to play with. I will miss having Elaine in this world but know she will be lovely in Heaven and add so much grace and style. My thoughts are with all her...

Lovely family, it was an honor to read about her history, life, and family. Thoughts and prayers for the entire family. I wish I had known her better. Peace and love, Peace and love!

Hello John and family of Elaine, I was so sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. We were best friends in high school. I know everyone will miss her. Best, Vicki Mebesius Congdon

New Elaine for a time at U of O around 1970. She was dating John and I briefly was his Beta Theta Pi upper level roommate. She was always nice and you knew John was a lucky man. Sounds like she led an incredible life. Sorry to hear her passimg

I as well lived on the same street as Elaine. I loved visiting at her house and listen to her play the piano. We all played a lot in the neighborhood. Both her and her sister Genie had a lot of fun to get her. She always seemed to be likely to end up successful in life. I always thought she was kind as was her sister Genie as well. You will be missed Elaine. My thought and love go to your family.

I grew up a few houses away from the family. Elaine and I were the same age, as was Bruce Sodorff (sp), Maria Karpstein who also lived on Hartman. Elaine along with sisters Genie and Connie would be out playing kickball and tether ball. As we got older (6th-8th grades) it was obvious that Elaine had a great future looming in the near future. And my goodness; she had an amazing life helping so many !

Prayers for the family, RHS, class of 1970, Michelle Heath (Whaley)
