Betty,
We are spending the winter in Arizona so I will not be able to attend Elaine's funeral and extend my condolences in person.

Despite all her problems, Elaine always displayed a sweet demeanor towards everyone at Villa Saint Anna--she was concerned and caring about felllow residents and very cooperative with staff--she was a joy to have with us. You were a good caretaker---my sympathy to you and your family.
