Elaine Repsher

Elaine Repsher, 86, of North Grosvenordale, CT, formerly of Pen Argyl, passed away, Wednesday, August 14, 1014, at Matulaitis Nursing Home, Putnam, CT. She was preceded in death by her late husbands, William Smith and Mark Repsher. Born: Born in Ashland, PA, June 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late John and Hilda (Kleppinger) Crain. Personal: For many years, Elaine worked at the former Brumbaugh Hospital until leaving to raise her son Charles, and returned to work for Laurel Ridge Home Health Care after the passing of her husband Mark, working there until retiring in 1994. Elaine moved to Connecticut in 1999, remaining there until her passing this week Survivors: She is survived by her son, Charles Repsher of Quakertown, three grandchildren, Mark Repsher, attending the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, AL, Sara Repsher at home, and Aliana Paetzell, attending Quinebaug Valley Community College, a sister Bernice Walker Elvin of Pen Argyl, three nieces, four great nephews and a great niece. In addition to her husbands, a daughter Diana Paetzell, and a brother Eugene Clark preceded her in death. Services: Funeral services will be held, Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 1 PM at the Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, www.ruggierofuneralhome.com, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl. There will be a visitation beginning at 11 AM until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield Township.
