Not sure what to say?

Elaine was a wonderful true friend through High School. We would have the best discussions, "bantering" about politics, or any subject that interest us. Elaine would tell me stories about her grandfather a doctor in Texas. She always sang the praises of her parents and brothers. As others have stated she was a powerful, compassionate, intelligent woman. Elaine had a beautiful spirit of southern grace and strength. My heart goes out to her family, God Bless them.

This was one powerful woman, as a young girl on through her years as a wife and mother. We were 'sisters' in Kirkland, we are 'sisters' in our battle against breast cancer. She was vivacious, ornery, opinionated, loving, kind, could laugh your socks off, and always had the strength that is needed to live the kind of life she did. The world is not as 'alive' without her. Claudia & Elaine, Sept. 2009

I love you 'Lainie! I will always love you my dear, dear friend! From the day you walked into 5th grade class at Central Elementary school in Kirkland, WA, it seemed we were destined to be close friends. Through the "issues" we got into; like planning and ordering a "Movie Day" without getting permission first to raise money for camp was it? Landed us in the Principal's office...to exciting times when you, me and Ramie went to David Cassidy's first concert screaming our lungs out in pre-teen...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dear Franklin:
So sorry for your loss. May God bless you all at this time of grief.
I often think of our times in Kilgore.

SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. ELAIN WAS A SPECIAL FRIEND. WILL MISS HER AND HER
BEAUTIFUL SMILE. GREATEST PERSONALITY IN THE WORLD!!

I have so many memories of Elaine that we couldn't get to them all the last time I saw her.Even the last time I saw her I laughed like I hadn't in years, thus making another one. That was Elaine, she could make a memory without even trying,God bless you Elaine!

I work for the Maids, and I just found out about her death this morning. And was very hurt of her passing. My prayers go out to her family. I loved to come to her house on Fridays and see the strength that she had. She and her Smile and her always telling the dog (Emma) to shut up because she always barked when we came, because she would not hurt a fly. I will trully miss her.(Shaundreka Shelborn, B'ham, AL.The Maids)

So sorry for your loss. Elaine and i went to school together in Kirkland and spent alot of time together. She was a great lady, and will be missed by all
