Not sure what to say?

Dear Arlaine,Gina and to all of Elaines family.
Your Mom was a dynamo when I knew her and worked for her. She would try anything if it sounded interesting or she wanted to paint it.
Elaine and Art came to NC State University Fishing School at Hatteras NC, one year. She and I ran up and down the Outer Banks, sightseeing and painting. One evening after dark we set our easels on a sand dune and painted the big moon coming up over the water.
She was always full of life and took on...

Elaine was such a dear person. She truly cared for others and always sought ways to help them. She helped to promote my art work in many ways and was just a wonderful friend. I thank God for her friendship.

Arlaine and Gina ~
You won't remember me, but I taught at St. Gabriel's in 1975, and my daughters Laura, Julie, Beth and Vickie knew you. We attended St. Gab's and knew your Mom and Dad (in fact, your father was my podiatrist.) I remember well how tremendously talented as an artist your mother was and I recall even more how vivacious and warm she was. Both of your parents were wonderful and they both brought joy whenever they entered a room. I send you my deepest sympathy on your Mom's...

What a wonderful joy to say that we have had Elaine Rockey in our lives. So full of energy and vibrant each time we met she always included much laughter and lots of giggles. It is with thanks to God that He added her to our world. We are sad but, Oh my what a legacy she deposited with us here at The Studio Shop.

Mrs Rockey was more than just my mom's best friend, she was like a mother to me in many ways growing up. Mrs. Rockey was my Godmother and a woman I respected and loved very much!

Gina and Arlaine...I am so deeply sorry for your loss... I love you both!

Arlaine and Gina, I am truely sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a great person and artist. My thoughts are with both of you during this sad time.

What a pleasure to have spent some time with this Lady last summer. What a sense of humor! She was always a blessing to hear on the other end of the phone. Elaine, I love you, and I know I will see you again. Until then, I will be missing you... Your phone pal and friend, Penny.
To Arlaine & Gina,
You were so blessed to have her as "Mom." Peace unto your hearts.
