Read MoreElaine was my piano and organ teacher when I was in high school. She taught me how to chord and embellish the written hymns. I had the pleasure of running into her at the Hancock County Fair last year and we had a nice conversation. Her music and her love of music and teaching were gifts from God. I will always remember the impact she made in my musical life. Condolences to her family.

I took piano lessons from Elaine and always enjoyed my classes with her. I saw her many years later at my cousin's high school graduation and she still remembered me. She was always so sweet and I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
