Elaine Curtis Shealy

Mrs. Shealy was my first grade teacher at Vestavia East in 1974. I'm glad to know that she lived a long, meaningful and influential life. She defnitely had a positive influence on me, as I am now a teacher myself. My condolences and prayers are with your family.

I have so so many wonderful memories of Elaine from the years we lived in Birmingham. I was welcomed into the small quilt group in which she was so active. Elaine was always so eager to learn new things whether they were quilt based or in another field...and always had her own spin to put on it.
