Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to read of Elaine's passing.
My family knew the Sortino parents in Yonkers NY in the 1960s. Such a beautiful family. I would like to share my condolences, however belated, to Peter in St Louis. I knew him at Cerone Park, around the corner from his childhood home. I was the park leader and we celebrated the landing on the moon together in July, 1969.
I remember big sister Elaine, too.
My heartfelt sympathies. 860-623-4548

I am saddened to hear about the death of Elaine. I was a suitemate and teammate while at SUNY Oneonta. Elaine certainly made a name for herself in the world of athletics and education. The lives she touched are better for having known her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Elaine was my first coach in 1974 at Staples HS, Westport, Ct .Elaine was an excellent coach, she exhibited a passion for the game. Elained cared about all of her players and was truly dedicated.
Elaine will be missed by so many of us. I am blessed that our paths crossed.

I was deeply saddened to learn about Elaine's passing. I was blessed to have known Elaine while working in the UMass Athletic Dept. Her energy, compassion, and humor were infectious. What I recall most about Elaine is her never ending compassion she bestowed on me in my time of grief years ago ; she is a special person who's leagacy will never be forgotten . My prayers were with her during her fight, and contiune. To her family my deepest symapthy in you loss.

Elaine was a "Gift" to everyone around her. I will never forget her friendship and support that she had given to me. Elaine was instrumental in building my hair salon business by sending her friends and softball family. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

My prayers go to the family & friends of this amazing woman.. Elaine was coach, mentor & friend to my daughter, Stacey. It was Elaine who brought Stacey to Umass to Play and then coach to help further her career.. She will always be remembered not just a coach but as the wonderfully giving person she was.. Gone much to soon. Rest in peace.

The Greatest Coach And Mento Ever.. She Changed My Life And I Will Always Love Her For That.. You Will Always Have A Piece Of My Heart..

Great woman, great coach and leader , great example of determination and persistence. You have left a tremendous legacy! Thank you, rest easy. The Quealy Family.
