John and family, we just arrive home from a trip and found this notice of Elaine's passing. We are so sorry to hear this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear John, I am so sorry for your loss. We were out of town last week so we did not make it to the funeral. But our thoughts and prayers were with you. My sympathy to you and your whole family. She was a special lady.

Elaine was such a dear soul, and a dedicated teacher! I remember her from way back when when we both taught at SW Christian, as well as later in life when we were back in contact. I remember when she and John married, and they went on to have such a wonderful marriage together - my deepest sympathies to the family!

We were so sorry to hear of Elaine´s passing. I have fond memories of Elaine sitting on the porch of our duplex with me going through cookbooks and telling me which ones she had tried. I was a young newlywed and really appreciated that. John and Elaine were great neighbors when we lived on Cutler. We are traveling and are sorry we are unable to attend the visitation. Our condolences to the whole family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
