Elaine Johnson Tyree, age 60 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday. She was a native of Rutherford County and was also preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Andrew Johnson and Ovie Joe Johnson; husband, James "Bubba" Tyree.

Mrs. Tyree is survived by her children, James Thomas Tyree, Kenneth Dwain Tyree and wife Paula, Monica Currey, Jeremiah "J.T." Tyree all of Murfreesboro; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Tina Bain, Penny Tidwell, Debra Stanley, Ocie and Mable Bain.
