Not sure what to say?

The Mission has lost a cool sister with political savvy,a witty mind, and a love of Alba's pupusas (at Sunrise). I miss Elaine on 24th st, at Flynn Elementary (where she shared helpful observations and knew all the students),at Pow Wows with Therese, talking to vendors and taking in that deep sense of community. Elaine Wall, Presente!

we are so grateful to have known Elaine through meeting Abigail when our daughter Tiana was in kindergarten. Elaine was so much fun to talk to and had spot on observations that were very down to earth. She told us about the Stanford Indian powwow and we went for probably 10 years straight, sometimes running into Elaine and Therese there. We lost you way too soon and think of you daily. I miss watching you and Abigail sitting on the couch bent over belly laughing at some silly Tom & Jerry cartoon that you had seen probably 10 times before. Our family is wiser and stronger from having you in our lives for the past 16 years.

No words can express how sad I am about Elaine. It's just so very hard to believe. I will remember her always walking with you Therese, down 24th in her beloved Mission, going by Casa Lucas or getting a bite to eat at Sunrise Cafe. She was always a cool cat. I send you all my love. Rose

I love remembering Elaine exploring my favorite Oregon beach at Neskowin: eagles, otters, ancient cedar stumps (1000s of years old), the wandering streams and mysterious Proposal Rock. Happy Journeys and Peaceful Homecomings, Elaine! Love, Jane

I am grateful for the few small moments my 5 year old son got to spend with Elaine, for the fact that her former truck is still running (after a small adventure on Mt. Diablo a few weeks ago), and for all the time that you had with her.

I am so sorry for your loss, Pat.

Peace and love on your next adventure....

i miss you.
