Not sure what to say?

Every year when this notice comes up of Elayne's death, I am reminded of what a vibrant and powerful life force she was. I am honored to have known her, and still miss her energy and laugh. I know all of us do.

I´m so sorry to now just hear of Elayne´s passing. She was such a wonderful women and I enjoyed her very much. We always had such great conversations and visits. I know her from coming to Transformations to see me for Pedicures, manicures, haircuts and eye brow waxing. My deepest condolences to the family

Elayne and I were close friends in elementary school and jr.H.S. we attended several Hofstra productions, courtesy of tickets from her mom. We idolized a Hofstra drama student, Charlotte Forbes. I moved to NJ after 9th grade. Elayne stayed with us when she had an interview at Princeton University. Please accept my sympathy for the loss of your dear Elayne. Judy Bullen Huskins

I couldn’t understand why there hadn’t been any post from dear Elaine. My deepest and sincerest heart felt condolences to the family. We met when she joined BA and became good friends but after her soaring career with the a/l we lost touch only to find each other with great joy through FB a few years back. I have no words other than I’ll always have you in my heart.
I’m so so sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Elayne most from her years as a parent at South Hill Elementary School where we worked on projects and events that our kids were involved in and from the Corner Book Store. I used to love to go there for children's books and conversations with Elayne. She always knew just the right book to recommend for my kids and almost held a reading list for them in her head. She never recommended a book they didn't love. I lost touch with Elayne as our kids...

We met Elayne on the softball field. Their son Thomas was a team mate of our son, Ryan and a member of the South Hill Royals. Her love of life and family was unbridled. Elayne was witty, quick to laugh, and “us mom’s”enjoyed our time on the side lines. A life gone too soon. My deepest condolences to Bob, Thomas and Benjamin.

Elayne's positive energy was infectious. While running the Library Foundation, she was a model for anyone in such a role. My deepest sympathies to Bob, their family and everyone close to Elayne.

I am sorry for your loss. Elayne was a wonderful colleague and friend. My condolences to Bob and the entire family.
