Elbert L. "Eb" Boyce

Mr. Elbert L. “Eb” Boyce 79, of Grafton passed away Thursday, November 18, 2004 at his residence. He was born December 26, 1924 in Grafton a son of the late Henry L. and Nettie Boyce. He had been employed by Freuhauf Trailer Company and a long time employee of the Strand Pool Room. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife; Betty Jean Godwin Boyce in 1988, four brothers; Lawrence “ Hump” Boyce, George Boyce, William Boyce and Layman “Bob” Boyce, four sisters; Josephine Reed, Cleo Willet, Virginia Shingleton and Marie Boyce.

He is survived by his long time companion; Loretta Weber of Grafton, two sons; Henry L. Boyce and Elbert L. Boyce both of Grafton, one daughter; Ashley D. Boyce at home, two step-children; Cynthia Tacy Pinkerman of Catlettsburg, KY and Carl D. Tacy, Jr. of Oak Grove, WV, two grandchildren; Patrick Jacobs and Shannon Knotts and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the Bartlett Funeral Home, Grafton with the Rev. Joe Metzler officiating. Interment will follow in Woodsdale Memorial Park.
