I will always remember those weekends we shared when we were kids and the fun we had when you stayed over. I will always regret that last phone call missed when we played tag for weeks and then you got sick. You were always there when needed, moving , an ear, even giving up your weekend to move me to Memphis. Life will not be the same without you but we will go on and honor you for all the days that we have on this Earth. I will miss you cuz rest in peace.

My brother loved family. When we have the opportunity to come together and fellowship as a family again, his presence will be missed, but our love and memories of him will remain. Rest peacefully Elbert. I love and miss you dearly and we will always honor your memory.

Warmest condolences to Elbert's family and friends. I knew Elbert during our high school years, when both Elbert and I were members of Incarnation Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. My recollection these many years later was of Elbert as an individual who was quiet and very thoughtful, and who had a sweet jump shot. Rest in peace.
