Jackie and Family: I knew Ray through Wachovia, KBR Trust, and (I) as a former member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Ray was a gentleman; an inspiration in conduct, kindness, calmness under pressure; leadership in business and church; and he always met others with a smile. What a special legacy! Jackie, Gavin and Tammy, Sandra and I are praying for you at this time of great loss, which is also a time of Heaven's gain. Ray was such a special man who left the world in a much better place than he found it. What a legacy he left behind! He was much loved by so many. Though he well be missed, he will never be forgotten.

I'm sorry for your loss. I knew Ray from his days at Wachovia and knew him to be a kind, caring, thoughtful and gentle person who was a perfect match for the role he played in the Trust Dept. and later at the KBR Trust.
