Not sure what to say?

I hope it's appropriate to post this. I wasn't a close friend to Elbert, but I attended music college with him, and we were in the same class. I don't think he was as intimidated as I was, but he was always sweet and kind to me.

At any rate, another friend of mine from that time mentioned him. So, I searched and was saddened to find he had passed.

The thing I recall most about Elbert was his remarkable talent; what a musician! Condolences to his family and friends.

May his peace be with you, until we all meet again.

He touched my in many.He taught me how to sing, uniformity, the power of praise and what it truly meant to serve God in song. Rest in peace my friend.

Elbert Jr. You will be greatly missed here on earth. I was reminiscing on the 1980's when you developed so many talents through the choirs you gave so many the opportunity to be a part of. Such a gift from God you freely shared. You shared that gift with me personally when you played and song in my wedding with Carolyn Traylor back in the 1980's. R.I.P. my dear friend. My prayer is that God continue to strengthen your family now and the days to come.

R.I.P. my dear friend, you will be greatly missed by me and many others. I also pray that GOD will give your family the comfort and strength they may need during this sorrowful time. GOD bless you all.

A life of music.

I will forever love and cherish you my brother and friend and will NEVER forget what you have taught me. Thanks for finding me right in the nick of time and becoming the friend that I have always wanted and needed. Forever love you Elbert. Thanks again for EVERYTHING!!!

RIP Elbert and God bless the family
