Not sure what to say?

Uncle Elberts' Family,

I am sorry to hear of your loss. May the Lord Bless you and comfort you in the loss of a husband, dad, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle. I vaguely remember Danny visiting Granddaddy Robert and Grandma Lizzie Houston in Kenansville. One summer we knocked around in Kinston and Beulaville with Mack, Danny, and I. Again, I am sorry for your loss. (I am Keith Whaley's youngest brother.)

Ricky Whaley (aka. Rick)

Grindaddy,
This is so hard for me to accept. grandma was hard enough. but now you too? I just have to keep reminding myself that you are in a better place and that everything happens for a reason. I want you to know that you will be missed dearly by not only me but all 8 of us grandchildren and all 5 of your great grandchildren. The memories of the woodshop, coca cola, the pool, ice cream sandwiches, makind card houses in your living room and the whistle parrot lolli pops will never be...

Cheryl and family,
We are sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the coming days and weeks. May you find comfort in your many memories. Thinking about you, all our love,
Kent, Debbie, Kate and Caroline

To my second father who welcomed me into his family and heart. "Sam", you will be dearly missed by all who love you and who knew you for the kind and gentle soul you were. Thank you for the love you showed me and for enriching my life and memories. You were always there to offer advice, comfort and support and your wisdom was not taken for granted. Know in your heart that we will be there for your wife and for "Molly", who already miss you more than words can say. Cheryl's love for you...

I am so sorry for your lost. I am Keith Whaley's sister my name is Kathy W. Rhodes. Sue called me Sunday morning, I haven't seen Elbert in many years but, he will always have a special place in my heart. My prayer is with you and your family.

Dear Cheryl:
My sincerest condolences. My thoughts are with you.

It was good talking to Elbert Jr. a couple of months ago, which came because Nanny Sue gave me his phone #. He wanted some family info on his ancestors. I have the info on my computer. Elbert is a second cousin on my mom's Houston side [Keith Whaley], because Robert & Lizzie Chambers Houston were my grandparents.

I am 63 Years old. I would like to hear from Elbert's children.
