Not sure what to say?

Dear Francine, Gary & Judo,

I am so sorry for your loss. Elbert was an outstanding man and your family has always been a part of my life.

My prayers are with you.

Lots of memories of Elbert. He always was laughing and smiling. Always keep that in you heart and mind.

Dear Francine, Gary & Judo,

What a man, outstanding father, community leader.

I feel so fortunate to have grown-up knowing & influened by Elbert.

I have so many good memories: Red Raider celebrations, band trips, youth choir trips, Friday nights at the youth house, the trampoline, driving by your house seeing welcome lights on giving safety to us all, girl-talks with Francine, selecting makeup and gifts from the store and many many more.

I know...

Johnson family...you're in my thoughts and prayers. Judo, love you brother.

Oh, the memories! Just as David had Jonathan, my father had "Soda Pop" (Jerrell) and "Zombie" (Elbert). There are no words to fully express the gratitude I have for Elbert's loving friendship and continued support throughout my father's life. I scarcely remember a "time was" story from my father that did not include Elbert and/or Jerrell as co-hort(s). His friendship will forever be treasured.

May God, whose mercies cannot be numbered, accept our prayers on behalf of your servant...

My prayers are with the family of Mr. Johnson. He was such a kind gentleman.

Our hearts are saddened to hear of Elbert's passing. He was always friendly and interested in you. He was a great guy and will be missed.
