Elbert S. Pittman, Jr.

I knew Elbert through Philmont. He was the Manager of Services when I was Asst Manager of Logistics. It was my first summer at Philmont and he helped guide me. It turns out it was his last summer at Philmont. The next summer I took over as Manager of Services. He left Services in great shape and that helped me. I think of him when I remember my first and second summers at Philmont.

Our condolences to the Pitman family. Elbert was a great gentleman great Scouter and friend. We met Elbert through the PSA (Philmont Staff Association) and instantly became good friends. We will miss his smile, gentle words and inspiring emails.

My condolences to the Pittman family. Elbert, you were a great friend and co-worker at Philmont.

Our Prayers & Sympathy are with the entire family. May GOD give you Peace & Comfort during this time of grief. I (Debbie) was very fond of Elbert and worked with him for many years at Southern Company. He was a very well respected man and had such a good heart.
