When we were classmates at Kinkaid, Dave exemplified consistently the familiar saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all," and the Commandment, "Do unto others as you would have them to unto you." His sound character, good nature, easy going temperament, enjoyable sense of humor, and athletic agility commanded respect and admiration among our class. I only wish that I had stayed in touch with him after I moved to another region of the country following freshman...
