I am sorry to hear of the passing of Dr Elder...he was truly one-of-a-kind. Although it might not be an original statement, I called him 'the country doctor' for his common sense approach to illnesses. He was always interested in everything that I was doing at the time, whether it was school, sports or just getting into teenage trouble. Whenever I can, I still speak of him thinking of those days. Rest now Doc E...you've earned it.

ALTHOUGH I ONLY KNEW DR. ELDER FOR A SHORT TIME, I ENJOYED TALKING WITH HIM ABOUT HIS YOUNGER DAYS AND HIS PILOTING.HE WAS A TRUE GENTLEMAN WHO HELPED MANY PEOPLE WITH HIS MEDICAL ABILITIES. I WILL REMEMBER HIS BEAUTIFUL SMILE. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY. I AM SURE HEAVEN IS A BETTER PLACE WITH DR. ELDER WATCHING OVER US.
