I was fortunate to meet and work for Eldon at the NOAA Climate Monitoring and Diagnostics Laboratory in Boulder. I'll always remember Eldon with great fondness. He is truly missed. My thoughts go out to his family and his lovely wife Marie who I also had the good fortune to meet.
