Mrs. Baum was one of the finest teachers I have ever had. She was my eighth grade math teacher. At a time when I didn't treat teachers with the respect they deserved, Mrs. Baum commanded respect without having to demand it. She also let me know that she believed in me at a time that I didn't believe in myself. She was a truly great teacher and human being. My condolences to the family. 101!

My mother, Dorothea Rice Browning, who passed away four years ago always spoke so highly of Eleanor and was impressed that both sons often visited even from long distances. Eleanor, obviously, raised them to be the considerate sons they are.
