Eleanor Rose Belcher

BELCHER, Eleanor Rose, 86, of Richmond, Va., died Monday, March 10, 2008. Born in Kecoughtan, Va., she was the daughter of the late Timothy R. and Yula Starvell Bryant. Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Belcher. Eleanor is survived by her son, Robert Powell Belcher and wife, Judith, of Caroline County, Va.; daughter, Mary B. Vaughan and husband, Douglas, of Chesterfield, Va.; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held there on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 10 a.m., with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park.
