I just heard of Ellie's passing.
I don't know how to say how much Ellie had an impact on my life. She was a mother/friend influence for me. Ellie picked me up more then once when things in my life seemed dismal.
I will always be grateful for the lessons I learned from her and the love and care she gave me.I regret I did not have the opportunity to reconnect with Ellie when I moved back to the SF area. My daughter reminds me so much of Ellie. Over...

I am sorry we never got to meet in person, but I feel I knew Ellie through our correspondence. We shared an interest in genealogy, and she was a wonder at that. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you will call on me if ever I can be of any assistance to you.
