In the past 7 or 8 years that I have known Eleanor, I greatly enjoyed the lunches we shared, stories about her life and family and her wisdom. She frequently talked about her work in the gardens at Harriton House. I always looked forward to visiting her and spending time with her.

Eleanor was such a delight to visit. As the Hospice Chaplain I was able to sit with her, listen to her stories about her family and church. I am grateful to have been able to share Eucharist from the Book of Common Prayer with her. I will miss her smile. May the peace of our Lord be with you all.
