My aunt, my favorite relative, my role model - a strong, creative woman who traveled as part of her job, learned to play the piano in middle-age, and sang in a chorus that performed with the Cleveland Orchestra. Her recorded solo in "My Yiddishe Mama" brought tears to my eyes. She was direct, intelligent, creative, sentimental, and loving. I learned as much from her in how she parented and lived her life as I did my own mother. You'll be missed, my dear.
