I was one of Eleanor's bridge partners and we were also very good friends. I was playing with Eleanor when she got her Life Master in Bridge. Eleanor knitted many caps for me to pass out through my church to the homeless in downtown Birmingham. Eleanor always wore a smile and was such an inspiration to so many of us at the Birmingham Duplicate Bridge Club.
