Not sure what to say?

Dear Walt and family,
Ellie fought the fight, always with a bright spirit. We loved seeing her, at Kathan Gardens and around our community. Ellie was a giver, we admired & appreciated all she did for others. Ellie will be remembered and missed by so many.
Please accept our deepest sympathy, we were fortunate to know her.

I remember Ellie as one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to know.
Ann Paulson, New London.

Deepest condolences to Walter, David and Jean. We all met at the Goddard reunion at Clyffe Pypard, Swindon, Wiltshire, many years ago. God Bless.

Walt and family, I send to you my deepest sympathy. Ellie was truly one of the kindest people I know. She was community minded and gave so much of her time and energy. Always a joy to be around her. Whenever I was with her, there was a gentleness and peacefulness about her. It was contagious and I will miss her very much.
With love,
Jay Leavitt

Although we met briefly, I feel we've known each other forever. Forever rest in peace Ellie

Walt, So sorry to learn of Ellie's passing. Many fond memories. You are in my thoughts

I will remember Ellie with great fondness. She was a very special lady.

Words are hard for me to find right now, so let me begin with sending much love, hugs and prayers to Walt, Jean and David. Inspiration, compassion, eloquence, devotion are only a few words to describe Ellie. I first met Ellie as part of the gardeners and soon she inspired me with extra love to my own garden and what’s more special is that a beautiful friendship blossomed. She loved the Town of Sunapee, community and her beloved church. She made the world a better place unconditionally. ...

I was so sad to read about the world losing Ellie. When I returned to Sunapee in the summer of 1993, I'm not sure how it happened, but I ended up being one of her happy gardeners in the Harbor and learning so many good practices which I continue to use. Ellie and Walter turned my beloved house on Heritage Road into a splendid home which truly sat proudly on the land. I know she will walk always among those gardens, and we will think of her with such love in remembering her there.
