Eleanor Ruth Hausmann

Eleanor Ruth Hausmann, 90, of East Bangor, PA passed away Sunday, August 16th, at Slate Belt Nursing and Rehab. Center, Bangor, PA. Eleanor was born in East Bangor, PA on July 5, 1925, the daughter of the late Clifford and Rhoda (Rasely) Lobb. She was the widow of Walter Paul Hausmann, who passed away in 2010. She was employed as a receptionist at the former Commonwealth Phone Company of Bangor, PA, until retiring in 1995. Eleanor was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Bangor, PA. Eleanor is survived by a daughter, Nadene Hausmann and her companion Gary Ostroff; a son, Kevin P. Hausmann and his wife Philomena. She was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Rasely. Services will be held at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane, "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA, at 11 AM on Friday, August 21st. Friends are invited to call Friday 10-11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be held at East Bangor Cemetery, East Bangor, PA.
