Eleanor "Mama Dee" Hoffman

Sorry this is untimely, but I just heard of Dad's passing and I am so sorry. My first memories of Dee go back 70 years or so when I visited my grandparents on East Murphy Avenue in Connellsville. When she and John moved into our house on Buffalo Street, I was thrilled. I loved them both. She was my friend, my babysitter, my counselor, my confessor, and above all my roll model. We were so blessed to have shared Sunday evenings at Horizons with Dee. She always had a smile. Many times Dee would invite others to our bible study. We will miss her so much.

I feel blessed to have had her friendship. She had so much love to share and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

My condolences to Julie,Phl, John and families hearing of your Mom's passing. I pray your memories of her wonderful life will comfort you in this time of grief.

Fond memories of Dee and Gray on the boat and just "knowing" them. Dee was a sweet heart. My thoughts are with you.
