Read MoreIt was an honor to have Eleanor as a patient and a friend. She was tirelessly concerned about others. Even when she was ill, she was concerned about how others were doing. Her use of email into her late seventies exemplifies her life long learning. Her last discussion with me included, "see you on the other side." I hope so!

I am doing this because I know El would have thought this was fabulous. I shared her 1970's introduction to "computers". Her passion for e-mails and keeping in touch was contagious! You were a GREAT friend of almost 30 years. I will miss you and our chats.. you sounded so upbeat during the last conversation, about 2 weeks before you slipped away...
