Ellie was a friend of mine I met while living in Mt. View in 1985. Whenever walking by her home on the beach we would talk for awhile. I remember her sailing her boat in her 70s. She kept her home in great condition. Ellie will be missed! Rest In Peace my friend

What a tribute to this wonderful woman. She was a neighbor of ours, a lovely person, and had no airs about her. I had no idea of the achievements and accomplishments.....wish I could have thanked her for all she did for women in sports and otherwise! RIP Ellie! You made a difference in the past, and for generations yet to come, once the current kerfuffle is over and it will indeed be over soon!
