This is Frank Viering, Art's second student hire at the Stockton Pub back in 1979.

I'm very sorry to hear the news about Ellie. I don't know if you guys all remember me, but I moved down here from Central Jersey in 1974 to go to Stockton. I went to work for Art and Ellie in 1979 and helped them develop the bar into the popular student hangout it later became.

Ellie was a wonderful person who treated me like a son. I'm glad she moved on...

Sorry Palzo for the loss of your Mom. I worked for your Mom and Dad at the Stockton Pub and I remember them and you well. They were very nice people to work for and your mom was fun to be around. God Bless

I will never forget her smile along with her determiation to bring out the best in all of us who new her and had the privilage to work with her.
