Eleanor Luce

I had the pleasure of knowing Eleanor as her tenant while attending Cal in the nineties. She passed Sweet100s fresh off the vine through the little studio window while she puttered in her beloved rambling garden and I studied at my window desk. After I went through a breakup, she invited me to a small Thanksgiving (?) dinner. It´s been so long I wonder if it wasn´t Thanksgiving, but only in my memory because I was so thankful. She had Max, a spunky pup and great companion, at that time. I...

I was her patient for 7 years, during my rocky adolescence and early adulthood. When I was adrift, she was always there with guidance and stability. I don't know how I could have made it without her.

A wonderful physician, therapist, colleague, I missed not having visits with her as when we were both active with East Bay Psych. Assoc. My best wishes and condolences to her family and friends.
