Not sure what to say?

I met Eleanor at Fairfax Recreation Center. Harry Porter coached us basketball. He instructed her in the skill of dunking the ball. She was a skillful and quick player. A beautiful young woman

What a girl! Amazing accomplishments in life! Truly loved and respected by many! Earth's loss Heaven's gain! Thank you, Jesus!

Eleanor Montgomery and I both were members of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. I did cheers {John Hay} during our yearly school raising event at Mt. Olive. I saw Eleanor at Willow Park just before Christmas when 50 Plus Ministry visited to give out gifts to the patients. Eleanor saw me and stated "There's My Cheerleader" and gave me a big hug. I promised her a special cheer upon her return to church. I kept my promise to her. I gave her a special cheer when I saw her. I could just see...

My Deepest Condolences....I will always remember our AWESOME bus ride from Cleveland to Nashville 1965....

I am truly sad by the news of Miss. Montgomery's passing, I have thought of her many times through out the years of my life, because she pushed me to continue my education, when I was a troubled teen and ready to quit school. She inspired me to work hard and strive for the better things in life! I credit a great deal of my success to the fact that she would talk to me and encourage me to get active and involved in band, sports, student council, and just being a leader. I am forever grateful...

From track and field to the tennis courts, no space would remain the same following Eleanor's entering into it. Fun loving, graceful, poised and talented, may all of Eleanor's family and friends find peace and even joy in the Lord. As for me, fond memories at Rockefeller Park from clay to hard surface.

Esther,
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. May God, by the Holy Spirit bring His comfort to you and your family. We have known each other since we were children and I know how close the Montgomery family is. Ernest just informed me, so I wanted to extend my condolences
