Tia was one of the best teachers! I was lucky enough to be in her Spanish class from 1976 to 1980! I was Toledo! I´ve thought of her often in my life and was blessed to be in her in class. Rest in peace Tia!

Thank you for being a wonderful friend, for always taking the time to listen and most of all for all the laughs. RIP Eleanor

I am a former student who loved going to class because of her. She was a wonder educator who knew how to teach high school teenagers.May she rest in piece

I briefly supervised Eleanor when I was in charge of foreign languages at New Dorp High School. I found her to be a magnetic, caring, and highly competent professional. The result was that her students loved her. It was my pleasure to know her as a colleague.

Miss Rosenbaum was my Spanish and German teacher at New Dorp High School. She overwhelmed us with her huge personality and sense of humor. I really loved her!
