Condolences to all who were lucky enough to know Elanor Russell. I had the pleasure of welcoming her and her beautiful singing voice to the stage of the Bear Garden, a former underground 'Cabaret' in Hawley Green. Her performance raised funds to support Jail Ministry in Syracuse.

My Deepest condolences to the Russell and Green family. Sleep peacefully Eleanor

Our dear cousin Eleanor was a blessing in our lives, may her beautiful spirit live in our hearts forever. She was loving, practical, + humorous. God bless her siblings and close friends helping them to heal. May Eleanor rest in peace with the Lord.

I was extremely saddened to hear of Eleanor's passing. She and I shared rides to and from church. We had great discussions and sharing. She offered me great spirit and wisdom. Her sharing significantly helped to empower my own ministry of faith. I also enjoyed celebrating with Eleanor and Gert who was always very dedicated to Eleanor (Miss Ellie). Keeping all in thoughts and prayers! Dave

Eleanor was a kind, warm, and very special woman. I was lucky to have met her in high school. Rest in Peace, Friend.

I remember meeting Eleanor at Nottingham H.S. in 1969 10th grade we were sent to integrate the school system and many great things started to happen with the diversities of things that we started there to represent we being there.

I knew Ellie years ago. She was a light and I am so grateful that our paths crossed. Thinking of her family and holding you close during this time.

Knew Eleanor from a while back! Was a great person and had the most beautiful smile. It was great knowing you from years back! RIP. Dicel (Torrence) Banks
