Not sure what to say?

What a privilege and sheer, utter delight to have known you and your wit, your finely-honed instincts and judgment; one of those rare folks who instantly radiated appeal and garnered respect. But the true character of Ellie shone in the way in which respect, affection and admiration for you only grew with continued association and friendship; grew from month to month, from year to year. Ellie: a one-of-a-kind human being whom I miss so already. Rest well, Ellie -

Ellie, we did not know you well (our fault for not trying harder), but you were definitely the backbone of the Mountain Democrats and for that we are forever grateful to you and to Scott. Your work here will live on in others for many years to come. Peace

Rest in peace, my 1954 twin, we will always keep you close.
