Not sure what to say?

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I will always remember Eleanor as a woman of God and a follower of Jesus Christ. We can leave no greater legacy than this.
My sympathy to all for your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I was Mrs. Schimke's mail lady before she moved to Arbor. She had such a kind and warm spirit and always gave me home made cookies for Christmas. I was able to visit her once at Arbor and I was amazed that she was as sharp as ever. My sympathy to the family for the loss of such a dear soul.

Mary Ann joins me in expressing our sympathy over the loss of this intelligent and knowledgeable women. Our stay in North Dakota during the Schimke reunion was immeasurably enhanced by Eleanor's stories at the grandparents cemetery and over many cups of coffee. May we all be remembered as fondly as we remember Eleanor. Our family history is important to all of the survivors and she afforded us that missing link.

Sincerely, Tom Schimke, son of Alvin's brother, Emil

My Grandma was a very comforting part of my life. She taught me about & discussed with me the Lord Jesus. For that I will always be thankful to her. When Gram was still in Harvey I spent a lot of time at her house. I would play kid's 78 records on their radio/record player for hours. I asked her once how she could stand hearing Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, The Emperor's New Clothes & more for hours. Gram said, "That it kept me busy & out of her way so she could get something done." I'll miss...

To the family and friends of Eleanor. I worked for Eleanor as her house-keeper some years back. She was a gracious woman. When you heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help. Memories of love and friendship are treasures to carry with you always.
