Sister-in-law Eleanor in-between Susan Steele Victor and Stanley Victor Aug 2019

For 78 years Eleanor and I have enjoyed each others' company thanks to the love between she and Harold. When I would arrive unannounced at the door for a hug from my big brother, she always welcome me, even if if was late at night. I am thankful for the bond the Steeles shared with she, the Hook and Carlberg families. To my nieces Margaret and Julia and nephews Chip and Robert and your families, please know that your kind, cheerful, beautiful, accomplished, always lady-like Mother and...

Eleanor was a sweet, kind and great lady. I loved going over to your house on Grant Street and talking with her when I was in high school and college. Then as adults living in Greenville, raising our family and continuing to see Harold and Eleanor was a great thing. She helped us in finding family dogs a couple of times. That was great.

I'm so sorry I didn't know about Eleanor's death. She was a wonderful neighbor who introduced me to snickerdoodle cookies and kept me in spending money as a babysitter. She was such a great part of the Grant Street Gang!

You and Harold will always be in my heart. Great friends who have given me great memories. Loved hanging out with you in Greenville and up north. Loved loved loved Harolds stories and you scolding him that he had alreafy told that one. When i think of michigan i think of you two. Until we met again.

Offering our deepest sympathies during this time.

My deepest sympathy to all of you children. Fond memories of your mom,
Especially when babysitting all those years ago for all four of you for 35 cents per hour!! Your mom was a gentle and kind lady to all. She and your dad were special people. Bless them both.

Sending our condolences to all the Steele children and grandchildren. Eleanor was a proud mother to all you Steele kids. Living on Grant St. Greenville was a happy place for our young family and having the Steeles as our friends and neighbors was a great plus. Watching them contribute to our community gave the rest of us the lessons of sharing and giving time and talents back to our great town. Always enjoyed visiting with the Steeles and sharing good times in Greenville. Our love and...

My husband John is a patient of Dr. Steele's. We wanted to express our deepest sympathies to him and his family.
May your beautiful memories sustain you during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.
