Not sure what to say?

Glenn was one of TSGS' best members. She always supported me and the Society to do the best to promote genealogy and preserve local records. She did a lot to publish records in our quarterly magazine. My wife, Becky and I miss her. RIP Eleanor.

Aunt Glenn treated me like one of her sons!

There were many people who mentored me when I came to work at Willard Library in the Local and Family History Center. But I have to acknowledge that the gracious patience of "Glenn" taught me more than any one. I learned more about genealogy and more about how to help people with their genealogy than I had ever known before. I will be forever grateful to her for stimulating my interest in family history. My sincere sympathy to her family; and also to the members of the Tri-State Genealogical...

I knew Glenn from my time at Willard Library, and she was as wonderful a friend as she was a genealogist and researcher. Her contributions to genealogy will keep her legacy and memory alive. My condolences to Glenn's family.

Dear Family of Eleanor Tenbarge...
I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you in
the loss of Eleanor. We first met at Willard Lib. when the Tri- sate Genealogy group was working on publishing
"The Big Red Book" as it was unofficially first titled.
She was so kind and so brilliant.
I am also a fellow member of the
Captain Henry Vanderburgh Chapter of
DAR.
Sincerely,

Nancy,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. How blessed you all were to have your mother at age 95. May Our Lord's comforting Spirit be with you these days. No doubt she has a special spot with the Christchild this Christmas!

In 2003, I had the opportunity to meet Eleanor one afternoon at the Willard Library in Evansville. I had known about her from "The Packet" and me being from out of town and her not knowing me from Adam, I was honored, first to just meet her and also that she took the time to answer my questions and lead me in the right direction on my queries. What a wonderful lady she was. Rest in Peace, Eleanor.

Our sympathy and prayers to Stan, Nancy and all of Aunt Glenn's family in mourning her loss. She always treated me like one of her sons. Now she joins Uncle Marv and Brad and Harry (my life long good buddy). We had many fun times.

Aside from being an excellent genealogist, Glenn was a dear, sweet lady who made the lives of her friends richer because of her kindness.
