Not sure what to say?

Oh Tammy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sorry, I just saw this. Your mom and dad were a class act. The last time I saw your mom was when she drove up to El Capitan Highschool to see her granddaughter and my youngest play each other in tennis. I was so impressed she made the effort. It was like 115% on the court that day and unfortunately El Capitan Highschool didn't really go out for girls or boys ftm, in tennis. Their courts were embarrassingly bad & there was virtually no shade for...

Vedder Family,
I attended McCabe School and Central High with Sandy and was involved in endless activities with many of the sisters (4-H, swimming, sewing, singing, horses). All of those memories involved Jim, Eleanor or both of them and always positive experiences. I was lucky enough to see Eleanor whenever I visited the Valley over the years - usually running into her at Celia's. She was always gracious, loving and took time to catch up. But the thing I loved most was her beautiful...

Angela and Paula,

What a wonderful life! Your mother raised beautiful, intelligent, respectful daughters. Angela, I remember you fondly from English 9 at Central in 1971 - 1972. Paula, I also remember you fondly from English 11 at Central in 1971 - 1972. That was not so long ago. My maternal grandmother also had eight daughters. I know that your closeness will bring you comfort during this time and always.

Deeply saddened to read of the passing of Eleanor Vedder, she was a wonderful person, a wonderful mother and a wonderful supporter to her girls who all went to Central and participated in athletics. They were all swimmers, some also played Tennis, all were raised to be respectful. When I first moved to El Centro to teach I became acquainted with the Vedder family, loved the entire family!

Mrs. Vedder was alway so cheerful and happy, we always enjoyed crossing paths with her!

My condolences to all of you girls and your families. Your Mom was a beautiful Lady. May she Rest In Peace.
Sincerely Jeanie Brundy

My condolences to all of you and to Mrs Vedder, you lived a good life now Rest In Peace with your beloved husband, Jim.

I remember whenever I saw Eleanor anywhere was her bright wonderful smile. She always caused you to smile in return. I will miss all the times our paths crossed.
