Not sure what to say?

"You must surrender to win." Jung said that only paradox may come anywhere near to comprehending the fullness of life. Eleanor you can have a gruff, fiesty, sailor swearing exterior but you have a kindness, a golden heart filled with love enough to drown the whole world. You are paradox. A great truth. A miracle. A blessing. Thank you for the truth, lessons, laughter, light, and love. You won, sweet soul, Godspeed!

My condolences to the Weston family on the passing of their mother, Eleanor. Living on Maple Avenue in the 70´s was the place to be growing up. There wasn´t a gathering or party that your mother was not of the neighborhood favorites. As the sadness passed please remember all the cherished moments and memories that were made and take comfort that your mom enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. It´s always sad that it takes something like this to remember how great it was.

Miss Ellie was BFF's with my mother Gladys Sponable. I was fortunate that I was a friend also. She invited me several times to visit her in Florida and I have wonderful memories of those trips. She gave me beautiful needlepoint that she made that I cherish. In recent months I enjoyed her phone calls and her texting. I sincerely hope our conversations helped with her loneliness. You will be forever missed. Rest In Peace. Anne Porter

I knew Eleanor thru my mom and I went to school with Margaret, we went on a cruise for our graduation then again for 25 year anniversary of graduation . As life went on Eleanor became family to my family being there for graduations, wedding, baby showers. She made my kids beautiful needle point pictures for weddings. Eleanor and my mother had a beautiful friendship everyone should be so lucky to have such a friendship. Rest in peace you will be missed.
